Pokemon Black English ROM (U) (Nintendo DS)

* Description :

Proudly being the newest game versions of the famous Pokémon series, Pokémon Black Version (Japanese: ポケットモンスター ブラック Pocket Monsters Black) and Pokémon White Version (Japanese: ポケットモンスターホワイト Pocket Monsters White) are also the original paired versions of the 5th Generation. These games are due for release in Japan in September 18th 2010 and are set to bring about a revolution of Pokémon.
These games follow the trends set up by previous games in the series. Two player characters (one male and one female) travel a new region, Unova, on their Pokémon journeys. Unova is a region far away from the precious regions, requiring you to get there by boat or plane. It has a large city call Castelia city, with loads of buildings and sky scrapes for you to explore. Outside of the city are various factories and train tracks existing in the various areas. This region contain a massive amount, 156 in fact, of brand new Pokémon, and unlike before, none of those available prior to Generation V can be obtained before defeating the Elite Four.
There is a higher level of 3D graphics than in previous games, including things like fully 3D bridges and a completely 3D city. In addition to the improved graphics, a number of aesthetic changes have been made from previous generations, including an altered battle scene containing fully animated Pokémon battle sprites as well as a dynamic camera that changes focus to highlight specific parts of the battle.
Numerous features are introduced within these games. In battle, there are two new kinds of battles: Triple Battle and Rotation Battle. In a triple battle, three Pokémon are sent out at once in order to battle with varying mechanics within it. The middle Pokémon can attack all three opponents, but the ones on either side cannot attack the Pokémon on the far side of the opposite end. There are some exceptions to this rule, such as the use of Acrobatics. However, you will lose a turn to change the position of each Pokémon during the battle.
Similar to triple battles, in a rotation battle, three Pokémon in each team are also sent onto each side. Nevertheless, they are sent out onto a circular platform. The platform can be rotated a third of the way around without wasting a turn. The Pokémon which is in the third of the circle facing the opponent is the one currently active. Strategy revolves around predicting which Pokémon the opponent will switch to and switching to the appropriate Pokémon on the player’s side.
Much like how Gold and Silver introduced the concept of the Day/Night cycle, Black and White introduce the concept of Seasons. These seasons change a variety of factors including wild Pokémon, location anesthetics and even the background music. Additionally, Deerling and its evolution Sawsbuck change forms every season. The seasons rotate at the start of every month so you don’t need to wait long until the next one.
Pokémon Black and Pokémon White are to be compatible in with the precious games through the aspect of the game known as the PokéShifter so you can complete the Pokédex. Pokémon can be sent from Generation III games, as well, by transfer through Generation IV. Through this, some event Pokémon can be traded over to these games to unlock new things such as the Monster Fox Pokémon, Zoroak.

Pokemon White English ROM (U) (Nintendo DS)

* Description :

These games were released in September 18th 2010 in Japan and were set to bring up a revolution of Pokémon.
Pokémon Black and Pokémon White follow the trends set up by previous games in the series. Two player characters (one male and one female) travel a new region, Unova, in order to meet new friends, new Pokémon, and – above all others – become the Pokémon Master. Unova is a region far away from the previous regions (You’ll have to take boat or plane to get there!). There are many large cities in Unova, but the largest is Castelia City, which is full of buildings and skyscrapers for you to explore; outside of the city are factories and train tracks existing in the various areas. Besides all of this, Unova also contains the biggest amount of brand-new Pokémon ever – 156 exactly, and unlike before, none of those available prior to Generation V can be obtained before defeating the Elite Four.
There is a higher level of 3D graphics than in previous games, including things like fully 3D bridges and a completely 3D city. In addition to that, a number of aesthetic changes have been made from the previous generations, including an altered battle scene containing fully animated Pokémon battle sprites as well as a dynamic camera that changes focus to highlight specific parts of the battle – like when Pokémon use their moves on the opponent.
A great number of features are introduced within these games. In battles, two kinds of battles have made their appearances: Triple Battle and Rotation Battle. In a triple battle, three Pokémon on each side are sent out at once. The middle Pokémon can attack all three opponents, but the ones on either side cannot attack the Pokémon on the far side of the opposite end. However, this rule can be “broken” in some ways – using the move Acrobatics is an example, yet you will lose a turn to change the position of each Pokémon during the battle.
Rotation battles are similar to triple battles in that three Pokémon in each team are sent onto each side. Nevertheless, they are sent out onto a circular platform. The platform can be rotated a third of the way around without wasting a turn. The Pokémon which is in the third of the circle facing the opponent is the one currently active. The rules sound quite complicated, but when you get used to it, there’s only one main skill that need to be learned: prediction. You must know when and which Pokémon on the other side will be switched into the battle
Much like how the 2nd Generation games – Gold and Silver – introduced the system of Day and Night back in those days, now Black and White introduce the system of Seasons. These seasons affect a variety of factors including wild Pokémon, appearances of locations and even the background music. In addition, Deerling and Sawsbuck’s forms will change with the seasons (Isn’t that interesting?). Unlike the real world, the seasons in Unova only last for a month, that’s why you don’t need to wait long until the next one.
These two games are compatible with all five Generation IV games, all thanks to the Poké Transfer, a device that allows Pokémon transferring, similar to Generation IV’s Pal Park. So now you can complete the Pokédex! Through this, some event Pokémon can be traded over to Pokémon Black and White to unlock new things such as the Monster Fox Pokémon, Zoroak.
